As a company we are always looking at ways to enforce new processes for improvement of sustainability and recycling.

Both in-house and off-site recycling is used. Any materials that are possible to be reused by ourselves are put back into stock, all card, paper, metal and most plastics that are unusable by ourselves are placed into recycling containers for off-site recycling.

We constantly monitor and update where needed our packing materials. Wood as is sourced from responsible suppliers as is the rest of our packing materials, we have changed the edges we use to pack pictures from foam made from petroleum derived products to card which is easily recyclable and also comes from sustainable resources. Our packing material supplier is also a member of the FSC and is also ISO14001 registered.

Wood is supplied by a company that is a member of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) and also the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) the chain of custody certificates that are issued by these suppliers ensure that

We donate recycled materials to a local urban farm that use the supplied materials to make animal shelters. All of our sites are electric powered, we have solar systems at each unit along with rainwater harvesting for greywater use within the warehouse/offices.

All buildings are BREEAM ‘excellent’ and are EPC A rated.

After a large investment we now have a fleet of commercial vehicles that are all EURO 6 compliant, which is currently the highest EURO category.
